Errol Rapid Trip Class II

Errol Rapid trips will begin in May 2013 and will continue every weekday through mid-September!

 

The Errol Rapid Trip - Our Weekday Whitewater Adventure -

We'll often bring duckies (inflatable kayaks) along on this trip to add to the fun.

Mon-Fri. May - July 1, 2013 & Mon. - Thu. for the remainder of the season Ages 6 and up. No experience necessary for a whole day of white water fun!

We will start from our convenient location in Gorham, NH at 9AM, pile into the shuttle vehicle and take a ride north through some of the most beautiful scenery in NH.

This full day, fully guided trip offers plenty of family excitement on a Class II rapid.  The Errol Dam ensures a continuous flow of fun 24/7 with fluffy waves plenty big enough to splash over the bow of the boat, and get you soaked,. Want to give guiding the boat a try??? This is the perfect rapid for it! All you have to do is ask your guide. The eddy at the bottom of the rapid is the ideal place for jumping out of the boat to go for a swim, raft wheelies, and general laid back horse play in the beautiful river. We take at least 3-4 trips down the white water using duckies as you get more comfortable. If time permits when the river trips are over, and the guests are game for it, we can take a short drive 10 minutes north to try and spot a moose. No guarantees, but we almost always see one!

The drive to the river and often the trip down, gives us opportunities to see moose, deer, bear, osprey, and eagles.

Water, lemonade or iced tea with a hearty snack will be supplied on the river with an incredible freshly prepared meal afterwards at our local restaurant partner. Sit back and relax as you enjoy the hearty late lunch at a local eatery with a rotating menu - think fresh & hot pasta dishes, tossed fresh salads, seasonal vegetables, barbecue days and of course dessert! Adult beverages and ice cream available for purchase to cap off your day. Check out a slideshow of your trip (photo CD's available for purchase) and return to base by 4PM.

 

Prices for the Errol Rapid Trip - (Includes transport to the river from our convenient Gorham, NH location, safety gear, and of course your meal afterwards.)
Adults - $80, Children under 12 - $75

 

 

Cancellation & Reservation Policies:

  • Trips depart rain or shine. Wetsuits are provided during cool or inclement weather for your comfort (there is no extra charge for wet suits).
  • A 50% non-refundable deposit at the time of reservation is required to hold your slots. The remaining payment is due 7 days before your trip.
  • If RaftNH cancels a trip for any reason, your deposit will be immediately refunded. If you cancel your trip, RaftNH will retain your 50% non-refundable deposit.
